The managing body of OP HRD 2014-2020 announces a procedure for the selection of projects BG05M9OP001-1.021 “TRAINING FOR EMPLOYED PERSONS”

Today, 12.04.2017, the managing body of OP HRD 2014-2020 announces a selection procedure for projects BG05M9OP001-1.021 “TRAINING FOR EMPLOYED PERSONS”.

The purpose of the procedure is to increase the ability of employed persons to meet the rapid changes in the labor market as a result of structural factors such as globalization, technological changes, and the aging of the population. In response to these contemporary challenges, the procedure will provide training for employees working in micro, small, medium and large enterprises. As a result, the adequacy of their skills will increase in accordance with the current needs of the business, the productivity of their work will increase and conditions will be created for sustainable employment and, accordingly, occupation of better jobs.

The total amount of the grant under this procedure is BGN 50,000,000.

The current procedure is divided into two components in accordance with the regulatory framework for the regulation of state/minimum aid. Grant-in-aid under this procedure is provided for the eligible activities and costs described in the application conditions as follows:

  • Component I – is implemented pursuant to Commission Regulation (EU) No. 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market pursuant to Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty, text of EEA relevance (OB L 187/26.6.2014)
  • Component II – is implemented according to Commission Regulation (EU) No. 1407/2013 of 18 December 2013 on the application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union to de minimis aid, text of EEA relevance (OB L 352/24.12.2013).

Applicants under this procedure are allowed to submit a project proposal for only one component. Depending on the selected component, they should comply with the requirements specified in the Application Conditions for the relevant component.

Deadline for submission of proposals: 30.06.2017 – 5:30 p.m.

Project proposals under the current project selection procedure should only be submitted electronically with a Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) using the Information System for the Management and Monitoring of EU Funds in Bulgaria (ISUN 2020) – https://eumis2020 .government.bg.
